Seed launches special edition in joint venture with Fiat

Copenhagen-based Seed presents new special edition of the company’s well-received combined pram and stroller, Seed Pli. The special edition is designed in a joint venture with Italian car manufacturer, Fiat, and named Seed Fiat 500 Special Edition.
- Fiat has managed to make the most fantastic remake of the sixties icon, the Fiat 500, which applies to most women in Europe, and of course a large group of men. We simply love the retro style, and enjoy having worked closely with Fiat on the process of making a special edition of our Seed Pli to go with the Fiat 500, says Anders Berggreen, CEO and founder of Seed.
- From the very first day, we saw cooperation with Fiat as a logic step for us, cause the Seed Pli pram and stroller fits nicely into the trunk of the 500. And there will even be place for luggage.
Seed presents the Seed Fiat 500 Special Edition on the 80th International Motor Show in Geneva from March 4. to March 14., this year as part of the Fiat 500 boot.
Seed Fiat 500 Special Edition will be available in the stores later in 2010, and the special edition will be sold parallel in the nursery stores and at Fiat resellers in Europe. Present, there is no plans to take the Seed Fiat 500 Special Edition to markets outside Europe.

 

 

Seed signs cooperation agreement with Italian car manufacturer FIAT

Seed Productions has signed a contract with Italian car manufacturer Seed regarding a special edition of the popular Seed Pli.
The agreement comprises co-operation among FIAT’s design studio in Torino, Italy, and Seed’s developing team in Copenhagen, and transfer of knowledge.
The FIAT version of Seed Pli will be presented on the “80th International Motor Show in Geneva” in March 2010.
